Under the last Conservative Government, Bishop Auckland was awarded £73 million in Levelling Up funding to transform our town. However, little has been done with this money. The Auckland Project (chaired by Labour Councillor Rob Yorke) are in turmoil, cycling through more CEOs than delivering real change. The pace of progress is deeply concerning.

It's clear that only Conservative councillors can deliver the positive improvements Bishop Auckland deserves, using the money we fought hard to secure. But with a new Labour Government in power, there's a real risk they will try to claw back this funding, leaving us without the investment we desperately need.

Labour councillors will just roll over, allowing Bishop Auckland to be left behind once again. To protect this funding, deliver much-needed improvements to our town centre, and secure a brighter future for Bishop Auckland, I need your vote. Together, we can ensure that the money stays where it belongs and is used to benefit our community.
