Reliable public transport is essential for our community, yet trains and buses are constantly delayed or cancelled, and they don’t run frequently enough. People need dependable transport to commute to work at expanding hubs like NetPark or the Treasury campus in Darlington, and students rely on it to get to school and college. But with such poor service, they’re left stranded.
As your Conservative councillor, I will hold train and bus companies to account for their failures and push for more frequent and reliable services. We deserve better, and I will fight to ensure that public transport is not an obstacle to education, work, or daily life. Investing in and improving local transport is crucial for our town's growth, and I will make it a top priority.
